Our exhibition “Corazones Sin Fronteras” focuses on the universal borderless symbolism of the human heart, a subject that has captivated artists throughout history. Represented as a religious emblem or a symbol of love, the heart is the only human organ consistently represented in nearly every aspect of imagery. “Corazones Sin Fronteras” is a collection of works by artists incorporating the symbols of the human heart.

“Corazones Sin Fronteras” is also our homage to the borderlands we call home. Today, the U.S.-Mexico border is constantly being presented as a place of danger and violence. Living here, however, we know the borderlands are our home, our heart - it’s a place of humanity, solidarity, and compassion. We welcome artwork that portrays our borderlands as a place of Hearts without Borders.

Although artists have the freedom to choose the concepts, media, and styles that better fit their vision of Corazones Sin Fronteras we recommend focusing prominently on the symbol of the heart.

ARTWORK SUBMISSION INFORMATION – 2 WAYS TO SUBMIT

1. Submit via Email:

Email high-resolution jpeg images of your work electronically to raicestaller222@gmail.com (maximum of 2 pieces for consideration) by end of day Saturday January 18, 2025. Please send us the highest quality images you can provide to show your work in the best light.

Your email must include your name, address & telephone number. Also include title of work, dimensions & price for each submission. (When pricing your work, please keep in mind that the gallery percentage is 30% of the total sale price)

2. Submit in Person:

If you prefer to submit your work in person, bring artwork you would like to be considered to the gallery (maximum of 2 pieces for consideration) on Monday, January 20 or Tuesday, January 21, 2025 4:00 – 6:00 pm
