Patrick Hynes

“Like watching paint dry” is a phrase that implies a lot of time on one’s hands. During this COVID-19 isolation I organized a lot of materials and harvested many rounds of paint dried in the can. These disks and cylinders became the basis for narrative and abstract works. In the spirit of working with what you’ve got, I laid them all out and relationships emerged - their time had come to live in a frame.
