COVID-19 lockdown inspired me to concentrate on a long-term project: Documenting my yard. It’s a small space that’s filled with trees, rocks, flowers, cactii, and birds. During my stay-at-home adventures, I noticed that Tucson was experiencing an especially vivid spring. Two examples:

Back Yard Pomegranate. This is one of many spring fruits that fell off when the weather warmed up. The good news? Other fruits are developing elsewhere on the tree.

Front Yard Hesperaloe. It's been a long time since my front yard hesperaloe sprouted a flower spike. This year? Two spikes. Thanks, hesperaloe, we needed that!
